Waycross is a family tradition. My father was a camper and counselor and I was a counselor at Waycross. My dad relived many wonderful experiences from his Waycross camp days through the bedtime stories he'd tell. About 18 years ago he started an alumni work camp where former staff members volunteer to get Waycross ready for summer campers. I now live in Chicago but Waycross is a place I return to every year. The scenery is beautiful, atmosphere peaceful, and the staff friendly.
